Picked up a few books for the coming year:
One about being a Math Coach (probably my next best career move),
One about Standards-Based Grading and Reporting,
One about Being a Better leader following Jesus' example,
A Strawberry Shortcake Valentine's Day book (for Kathryn),
and Kiss My Pre-Algebra Butt or something like that.
I look forward to reviewing these in later posts.
TMP-TT
Where TheMathProphet talks about Education in general, Teaching Math and Physics, Integrating Technology in the classroom, Standards-Based Grading and Reporting (SBG&R), and Expeditionary Learning.

Expeditionary Learning National Conference 2011
In March I will be giving two master classes in Portland, OR for the EL National Conference.
One class will be co-taught with Megan Hall on how to plan lessons for Crew. We have done some really great work creating lesson plans using the Developmental Designs format for 7-12 Crews (think homeroom).
The other class will be co-taught with Hans Ott and will be on our schools journey of SBG&R. We have been able to do some great things at my school with SBG&R and that is due to some hard work by us and our awesome staff.
